In 2018, during his days as a volunteer in Africa, Mr. ‘H’ personally witnessed the struggles faced by many people around the world who needed help. He saw numerous children trapped in life’s harsh realities, battling insurmountable illnesses, and making difficult choices. These experiences deeply moved him, inspiring him to establish HakShan, intertwining his business with giving back to the community.

He hopes that his enterprise will not only provide authentic and delicious food but also enable customers who dine at his restaurant to have the opportunity to join in ‘giving back to society.’ He wishes for every customer’s expenditure to turn into a tangible contribution to society. This is his aspiration and the mission of HakShan – to make every dish and every expense a force for good.
